As an NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), we don’t own ships, trucks, or vehicles, but we proudly partner with shipping companies and transporters committed to reducing harmful emissions. We increasingly rely on environmentally friendly modes of transport, such as barges (inland shipping) and trains, to minimize our carbon footprint.
Progressive measures like the "Low Sulphur" and "IMO2020" surcharges aim to lower sulfur content and emissions from ships. Many of our shipping partners invest in liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a sustainable alternative. By collaborating with these forward-thinking companies, we actively contribute to greener logistics and strive for standardization across the industry.
Sustainability in Our Offices
Sustainability extends to our internal operations. Our order management system reduces paper usage by encouraging digitization and adhering to a "keep it on the screen" policy. Documents and emails are digitally archived to avoid printing wherever possible.
Our offices feature energy-efficient light sensors that automatically switch off unused spaces, while materials like plastic and paper are collected and recycled separately. We encourage sustainable commuting through work-from-home options and the use of bicycles, demonstrating our commitment to a greener future in every aspect of our business.
